First of all THANK YOU!!! With your generous donations last year we were able to re-surface the batting cages so that we now have 6 functional batting cages AND we were able to replace/repair the roofs on 3 fields and put first time brand new roofs on the dugouts at Fields 7 & 8!!
Many have asked what our player fees are used for and why it is necessary for Farragut Baseball to ask for donations outside of the registration fees that we collect each season. Below we have listed some of the costs the league incurred for Spring and Fall 2015 as well as some areas of needed repairs:

Field Maintenance $27,032 (includes cost of topsoil, sand, and turface)

Knox Co Sheriff's Office $ 3,900 (*Assistance at Fields 1 & 2 - this is not provided by Knox County)
Repairs/Janatorial/Misc $28,948

Repairs and Updates Needed (Please Note: These items are not provided by or paid for by Knox County or the Town of Farragut)
*Electrical Upgrade and Repairs needed on each field $20,000 - $30,000
*Replacement barrier netting needed on Fields 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 $10,000-$18,0000
*Replacement of utility vehicle for fields $5,00-$10,000
*Additional picnic tables $500
All of these items are needed repairs--these are not cosmetic or luxury items by any means. We want to provide players and families with the best possible facilities that we can and unfortunately we have to pay for these additional items and repairs as a league. We would ask that you consider donating an additional amount in the space provided during registration. If you would like to make a donation after you have registered, you may do so as well.
